OMO-AGEGE: FAKE COALITION CHASING SHADOWS, RABID LOSERS BEHIND MOVE TO EMBARRASS SENATOR - AKPODORO •••Says, This Conspiracy Must Fail

By Ayo Esan

The national President of the National Coalition of Niger Delta Ex-Agitators,  NCNDE-A, Eshanekpe Israel, a.k.a Akpodoro, has described as unwarranted, cheap blackmail, wicked, grossly misleading, statement issued by a Coalition of Civil Society group asking the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, to resign his position in the senate owing to an alleged conviction in the United States of America, USA.

Akpodoro, an ex-militant leader stated this in Abuja Thursday, at a well attended meeting  of the critical stakeholders in Niger Delta Project noting that the Solomon Adodo-led group was fake, chasing shadows in its "blackmail" as funded by its rabid sponsors describing the sponsors as petty politicians in Delta State who he noted are envious of the rising profile of Chief Omo-Agege the Obarisi of Urhobo land saying such envious characters should be ready to face the consequences of their actions against an illustrious son of urhoboland declaring that, enough was enough for the enemies of Urhobo nation adding that, "this conspiracy must fail."

He further stated that Adodo was being used as a canon fodder by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP elements and their All Progressives Congress, APC collaborators in Delta state who see Omo-Agege as stumbling block against their 2023 ambition in the oil-rich State adding that unfortunately they chosen the wrong path.

Chief Omo-Agege, Akpodoro stated was not in anyway convicted anywhere in the world including the U.S.A challenging the Adodo group to provide evidence to support its claims warning that, should the group attempt to carry out its threats to protest to the National Assembly as being goaded by its sponsors with the aim of embarrassing "our own Omo-Agege," it will have its match in the members of the Coalition of ex-militants noting that the self acclaimed civil society group does not have the monopoly of violence saying: "Nigeria belongs to all."

He noted that the people of Delta State have watched for too long this embarrassing menace being sponsored by disgruntled elements in the state in the name of crass politics and that this will bring an end to the orchestra of deceit being championed by the enemies of good governance and excellence of good representatives.

"We won't sit down and watch a handful of questionable characters blackmail and embarrass our distinguished Senator for want of cheap money and criminal gangup to rape the Urhobo nation of quality leadership. Nobody is more Deltan than the other, if they think they can possibly  blackmail Omo-Agege into surrendering himself to be fleeced or intimidated against 2023 politics, we shall all slog it out in the streets of Nigeria.

"Unequibocally, I want state that, this madness must stop, we shall stage our own protest to the National Assembly Complex within 72 hours to tell the world those behind this macabre dance of shame and for Nigerians to know that Omo-Agege enjoys our unflinching support with a mandate to succeed. Call it a vote of confidence, you are right, call it whatever you wish, the common denominator is that Deltans love him and this we shall show to the world.

"Membership of our group cuts across the Niger Delta region and we shall march across the length and breadth of the region including Abuja to drive home our "leave Omo-Agege alone" demand. Akpodoro fumed stating that, the conspiracy to foist bad leadership on the people of Delta State shall be resisted at all cost without let or hindrance.
