NDDC: EMERHOR, OTHERS ON THE RUN AS EFCC INVITES FORMER DIRECTOR, ADJOGBE ●●●Group Says It Will Arrest, Hand Him Over

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief O'tega Emerhor, who is said to be a brother in-law to the erstwhile Executive Director, Project, of the defunct board of the Niger Delta Development Commission,  NDDC, Samuel Adjogbe, is reportedly on the run owing to the invitation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on alleged fraud.

Adjogbe who contested and lost the Ughelli constituency ii on platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP was reportedly railroaded by his in-law, Emerhor into the developmental agency shortly  after the 2015 electoral victory of President Muhammadu Buhari against the wishes of party faithful in Delta State.

Adjogbe's invitation  by the anti-graft agency is not unconnected with suspected fraud of over N60bn naira in shoddy contracts most of which sources hinted may have been awarded to Emerhor who is his godfather and to his "numerous" proxies.

Sources close to the Republic stated that most contracts spearheaded by the mechanical engineering graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, were awarded to questionable companies many of which have no known addresses, no records of previous contracts while some other companies who made Adjogbe's lists of contractors were alleged to have been hurriedly put together and contracts awarded them without due process.

The former Director, who sources say has taken cover and doling out millions in bribe money to senior members of the presidency for soft landing while his aides and close associates with whom he may have committed the alleged sleaze has property in choiced locations across the globe including U.S.A, United Kingdom, UAE...

Meanwhile, youths in the Niger Delta region have vowed to arrest and hand over Adjohbe to the EFCC when the need arises.

A youth leader who spoke with our correspondent in confidence said he would lead the region's youth to arrest whoever is implicated in the massive looting of the Commissions including the Ewrueni-born Adjogbe noting that until a major scapegoat was made out of the NDDC management, the humongous fraud being perpetrated by successive boards of the NDDC would continue unabated as he accused Nsima Ekere, to have led the worst management in the history of that agency.

He called on the EFCC to haul  'looters' of the NDDC into prisons to serve as deterrent to would-be-thieves another day saying, enough was enough.

"The moment they are appointed, you see them parade large numbers of security personnel all over the place causing apprehensions wherever they go to enable the loot the Commission dried.
"We are privy to the subterranean movements at nights by the former EDP and his godfather carrying about the place large some of money to bribe their way out." Our source stated.
